Character profile:

June 2013: White Green Yellow bird has incredibly pale feet.  He is quite a shy crane, but is gaining in confidence and is now joining the other birds when gallivanting around the enclosure. White Green Yellow came from a single egg clutch and so has no siblings.  September 2013: Once moved to Somerset he became quite clingy to the crane parents, and also started to bully the other birds.  He has been fitted with a GPS backpack datalogger as well as leg mounted radio tag.  He was quite 'pecky' prior to release - and to be honest - we were quite glad not to have to hang around him too much any more!  November 2013: Sadly White Green Yellow's remains were found on the 1st of the month, after his radio signal was picked up separately to the rest of the group. We don't know how he died, but it is possible he was injured, or sick, and then taken by a predator.
