Othery school gets creative

I had a lovely day at Othery Primary school on Monday, where the 'Great Crane Project Artist' Melanie, commissioned through our collaboration with Somerset Art Works and funded through The Arts Council and 'Inspired' has been working with some of the children from Othery and Middlezoy schools.  They produced gorgeous pieces showing the various habitats cranes are found in, including farmland, forests with pools, meadows full of flowers, and wetlands with bulrushes and water lilies.  A lot of hard work, and a lot of fun, with beautiful results!  All the work will feature in an exhibition Melanie is putting together in September.
